we have decided that we are going to get a puppy in may of next year! gosh i miss baxter though.

My doggie is a rescue. I tried to get a bigger dog who could kind of be a guard dog. Then we walked into the shelter and met her and the doggie whammy happened and we adopted her despite her being smaller than some cats. Turns out she was five years old (and not a year as they originally thought).

We've had her for five years now. She's a pain in the ass but I will miss her when the sad day comes. I'm hoping that day is a while off so the kid is in college (I tried to get a younger dog so he would have it until he goes to college and not have to lose a doggie when he's young.)
