Nah, I hate those anyway. I'm starting to lean towards just letting the train do what it was going to do anyway and stay out of it. Why is it all of sudden my job to decide the fate of these people. And who put them there anyway? I didn't do it. It's that guys fault.

Are you a better friend if you tell them the truth, even if it upsets them, or if you pretend to be happy with their bad decision, even if it might end up hurting them later?

Tell them your honest opinion, then support the hell out of them no matter what they decide to do.

We've been developing the habits of an inbetween so much so that HR people are almsot a joke when we apply to a job we think we're appropriate for.

Test this. Do this for a year and then go type next to the secretary while he or she is filling out your job application.
