saw something the other day on nextdoor/columbus and found it perhaps good advice. A lady posted a video of someone coming up to her door and frantically ringing the bell. he yelled through the door that he needed someone to call the squad and narcon if the person had it. Someone nearby had O'D'd. Her reply was "squad's on the way and narcon is in the mailbox." the man promptly grabbed the narcon and left to take care of what he had to take care of. i don't face these problems anymore where i live now, though i know it could happen. but when i lived in downtown columbus, yes, it was a concern. so, i've tucked this advice away and hope i never need it in the future.

the narcan survey is still up if one has masters

I worked for St E's first responders for a few years and we had to fight to get narcan here in KY. I got an exemption since I still have my medic cert. Still have my narcan and have saved some people. Was a fire leiutenant for 29 year, medic for longer than that, but I've saved more lives between having narcan and knowing the heimlach manevur. Please, know them both
