Its 100% because of the bot panic. Surveys came to a complete halt the day after that moron made that post on the requester forum

I hope whoever was using a bot to take surveys is happy because you played yourself

We had discussed in the Spring - before the BOT panic, that mturk seemed to be slowing down generally. So, survey's - for sure - are tied to the bot thing. As for other work - that also seems slow.......
