On the bright side, I avoided talking with my neighbor. She's a Debbie Downer. She seems normal at first, but within a few minutes of conversation she can take your great mood and turn it into crap, or your already crap mood and make it even worse. I narrowly avoided her after I got home from picking up the kids. It was kind of like a horror movie with me desperately trying to find the right key as I heard the sound of her front door open. Everything was in slow motion for a moment, but then, I found the key and was safely inside...I call that a win.

Bullshit Rejection odds 30%

If it's through transcribe this they routinely reject about one out of 15 or so of mine... but they ALWAYS over turn them. It's just a hassle to have to do the contact form, follow up with an email, AND keep up with wich ones are rejected and if they fix it. If it's mturk prod they've never rejected me but my longest one with them is like 3 or 4 mins. I can never catch the longer HITS with them and rarely do with Transcribe This. Good luck.

I have 361 still pending from that date and at least one other person on the forum has pending hits from that date too. I suspect a snafu so you might want to check with them about those rejections.

I never feel bad about it. I used to try to have conversations with her, but she's kind of like the "energy vampire" in "What We Do in the Shadows" (if you haven't watched it, you should, it's funny), and I just can't take it sometimes. Sometimes, if one of my family members is with me, I try to steer the conversation toward them, and then I slowly back away...it's kind of a game we play, who'll be the one that gets trapped...

So, this shower thing removes teeth, scars eyeballs, straightens your hair, and trims your toenails?.....I won't try to go into possible trauma to one's more delicate body parts....I'll just leave that to your imagination.

I think it should be adjustable to ones own discomfort levels. Should definitely be painful though, everyone else goes for the comfort market. Think of it like 50/50 immediate cleanliness with some immersion therapy to help adjust your thresholds for the rest of your day. Stuck in traffic and your car runs out of gas, "This ain't too bad! At least I'm not showering again!"
