So I did a hit for a requester where the consent form said that completion of the HIT would pay $4, but the HIT paid nothing. After emailing the requester if the payment would come in the form of a bonus, she said that there was a mistake with the consent form and that there would be no payment. Would this be worth contacting someone higher up at their school, like do I have a leg to stand on here?

yes. absolutely. you did a hit expecting pay per the consent form and you didn't get paid for it? mistake or not, you did the hit based on false information provided to you. the question is, do you have the consent form copied for proof?

Yes, it is so weird. they said to make sure my name account number, and bank name are visible and well, they are all there.

The fax number I have (2 years old but still s/b good) is 206-765-3424. The key here is to PERSEVERE. Sometimes success with those people hinges on coming across the right individual at the time of day (weird) that will receive your info. When in doubt, give them more info that they ask for. I finally pretty much threw the kitchen sink at them ... and eventually won the battle.
