Today I was notified that my MTurk account has been suspended. I sent an e-mail to the appeals account but I'm not very hopeful for a response.

Anyone have any advise on how to get this overturned quickly? I don't use VPN. I only use MTS, TV, and PC (no forbidden or shady scripts). Not sure what it could have been that got me (and my bf, he got the same exact e-mail two days ago) suspended?

Is there a phone number to use to speak to a human about this? I am sure if I even get a response to my e-mail it will just be an automated & unhelpful copy/paste type message so I'd rather just contact someone directly - though I have a feeling that is probably not an option.

Thanks in advance for any help. Feel free to send me a message here if you've been through this. I am pretty bummed but trying to be hopeful...

seriously, i don't recall the answer but if you have submitted HITs for 10 days or whatever the length of probation is, you probably are out of probation.

Also as to why it happened, it sounds like it might have been two accounts at the same IP address. That's not impossible to do but it could look to them like you're using more than one account per person.
