Thank you all for your kind words of support. I'm trying to deal and move on . I'll never get over it but i'll get through it. Any tips on how to move on from something like this from those who lost loved ones ?
I'd say time helps. My mom passed away thanksgiving day 2000 suddenly while she and dad were out of town visiting my grandma while I had to stay behind and work. Much less hurtful now, almost19 years later than the first year or two while you get over the loss, over what she did for us, and all the holidays/birthdays, etc. where she wasn't present as part of that.
Also be prepared for a family dynamic change because of the hole in your family with her death. While it's never good (but yet inevitable) you will lose a parent, I think my mom's loss was one of the best things that happened to me as it got me from being lazy while mom did a lot of things for us to having to contribute more effort to the family because of having to split up doing all the things she did for us.
Sorry for your loss and it's hard to have a swell weekend knowing that two fellow MTC'ers are hurting this week.
