Dear MTurk community members,


Many of you came across a HIT we posted today called Rating Movie Posters, requiring access codes. As indicated, this HIT was part of an experiment on communication in the MTurk community.


Because access codes were randomly granted to members of the community many Turkers did not have immediate access to these HITs leading to much confusion, frustration, anger and time loss. We deeply regret the trouble this HIT group caused. This was never our intention. We are committed to posting HITs that do not take advantage of the the community or its members and the creation of this HIT created circumstances that broke our commitment. For that we are sincerely sorry.


We did not anticipate the effects this HIT would produce, so you if you feel like you’ve been significantly inconvenienced please do not hesitate to contact us directly: ssuri0@outlook.com

Did you message them? I had an error as well but they made a compensation HIT for me. (I'm assuming you're talking about the Jan $8 hit)

everyone is cranky on dayshift today. that is usually my job. this morning dayshift started with someone saying something jeff bezos something something balls something lick balls. and it has been all cranky from there. for about 10 reasons.
