Still playing NFL games on baseball fields in 2019...

not anymore. The crapiseum (literally!) is the last dual use NFL stadium and it sounds from the comments today that today was the final Raiders game to play on a baseball field as the Athletics home sked will be over by the next Raiders home game.

Raiders move to Aveline next year so they won't be playing in a dual-use stadium anymore.

Throughout sports history it has always looked so ugly.

with the raiders no longer playing on a dual-use field, we have the ugly baseball/soccer, similarly ugly basketball/volleyball, and rare ugly football/soccer.

Due to something or other involving dense clouds it looks like the high winds and major gusts aren’t going to happen, maybe, or maybe happen later more towards evening, maybe, or maybe they will happen together with the precipitation in the very early morning hours which will negate the fire danger, maybe. And this folks is the definitive word from NOAA.

It's called a "forecast" not a "weather certainty". Just like the "forecast" of a weather model has Humberto going out to ocean but there are a few prediction paths that have it threatening or making landfall around SC, NC, southern VA so I'd still be keeping an eye out on official "forecasts" just in case the rare model paths come true.

Inquisit was no bother and rarely is anymore for me. It used to be, though. I like this type of HIT. It's all artsy stuff. Done this requester's HITs before. HIT Time: HIT Time: about 13 min, but I was off in the kitchen dithering about.
