you didn't have fun and save the money? if you have no destruction venues near you that would take the chair for free or pay you a few bucks, you could have taken the sledgehammer after it yourself and make smaller pieces to fit into your trash cart.well, off to the dump to pay 40 for a pass to get in and
15.00 to get rid of an old chair (upholstered).
sigh. In FL we'd just put it out on the road and they'd take it w/garbage........
or put it out by the dumpster and it would disappear like houston was or columbuswell, off to the dump to pay 40 for a pass to get in and

I would have needed a chainsaw, lol. (You buy purple trash bags - each one costs 3 dollars - so after hacking away, it would have to fit in the bag and not weigh too much).you didn't have fun and save the money? if you have no destruction venues near you that would take the chair for free or pay you a few bucks, you could have taken the sledgehammer after it yourself and make smaller pieces to fit into your trash cart.
Or put an ad on Craig's List, or your local paper, or ad sheet, for a free give away--just pick up. Good chance someone will want it. For something. I was continually amazed at what people will take if it's free.....just make sure you tell 'em you won't take it back..........Chainsaw?? It's made of wood? You burn wood in the winter?I would have needed a chainsaw, lol. I learned that lesson in Texas. Put stuff gently in the bin and it disappears. Or let it sit outside the bin and it also disappears. Told the X when we were first together to take a bag of clothes, I think it was, that I didn't need anymore to the garbage bins and just set it outside. He thought I was crazy. Probably was, but anyway he did that and next stop found someone taking the bag. Never questioned me on that again.Or put an ad on Craig's List, or your local paper, or ad sheet, for a free give away--just pick up. Good chance someone will want it. For something.
