I have come across similar sentiments. Do you suppose it is because the platform has gained some attention and thus drawn in too many workers?

amazon put no money into the platform - and has no desire to really help it grow.
it DID increase costs for requesters, though - and that didn't go over well.

just wanted to add that I don't mean to sound so curt or depressing. There's some money to be made and this year might pick up a bit. But the truth is what I said - it has changed for the worse and amazon really didn't invest money to make it what it could have been (imo)

Hi everybody! New turker here! I just completed my 10th day and mostly trying to get as many hits as possible.

My question is, is there any way to complete the tasks faster, for example, receipt itemization hits takes too long and pays just a few cents, how do you guys manage it?

no one here probably does those hits - they don't pay enough. You really have to think about what you will do - what is worth your effort. It's hard out there!
