Well coming from where I've been, I'm 27 and I'm seriously thinking about it, why can't we? Would allow me to "housewife" and still make money. I don't know gender roles these days =/

Well the problem is knowing that it's possible to make much more money doing other things than mturk but not knowing what to do. I personally don't think it would be a smart idea to rely on mturk as a long term occupation because anything could happen and there's really no other platforms to jump ship to.

Indeed. Living with roommates. Not really making much of yourself. Also 28. Who knows where this life will take me.

Glad to see I'm not in this boat alone. I've thought about learning new languages in my free time but am unsure if knowing a few languages alone would lead to any great career opportunity's in the future. I'm just unsure about my future I suppose. Wish you the best bud.

Slow day's like today make me really reflect on my current situation and make me think about my future.

They got booted from the platform by Amazon. I am not sure if they got an explanation. They invited workers to do their HITs somewhere else for a slight pay increase if I remember correctly.

To each their own but I don't see how it would be sane or viable to do it full-time for an extended period of time. Not to mention, the world is a big place and their is too much out their to sit on your computer alone clicking away at batches and surveys.

I don't like mturk. I'd hate to do it for the rest of my life. I know what I want to do but I don't know how to get there or even get the motivation to start getting there.

There's at least one person that post's $200 PE's for the day but he does pretty much nothing but transcription and it took years for him to get to that point most likely. I'd never want to work on here for all of my life. While some day's are amazing, there are day's when you start to lose hope and it feels way too slow.
