I've heard some horror stories.

Yeah, I pretty much have to be somewhat happy that there's nothing for me to do today on mturk since the internet is just consistently useless and I wouldn't be able to do it anyway.

I'm very curious about internet companies and their screwups. I don't doubt that this kind of stuff is difficult to maintain, but the constant outages and incredibly slow speeds are unacceptable. Surely they understand that people work from home these days and need their internet to work now, right? I had Verizon fios for like 5 years or so and it was great, but ever since Verizon sold out to Frontier it's been headache after headache.
