Well, that hike only took 5 hours .

Things I learned:
1. Don't wear the purple socks. They hurt all the way up and all the way down.
2. I am still out of shape
and finally
3. Hiking trail reviews on ALLTrails is a bit like mturk reviews. (Note: whoever wrote that the beginning was super gentle and easy totally LIED. The whole thing was tough!)

and finally, I could see Mt Washington from the top (I climbed Mt. Ascutney - so it's about a three hour drive NE to Mt. Washington

I understand because I squeeze the gift cards to the last penny. I spend NO real money ever when gift card shopping and not being a Prime Member (except when they offer it free) and confining my shopping to necessities it makes for a lot of shopping around.
