I had no idea that it was National Ice Cream Day today, but coincidentally, I had a craving for ice cream. I dished myself a good-sized bowl, along with a generous topping of chocolate syrup. I plopped myself down on the sofa and dug in. I was so disappointed - it was the worst ice cream ever. The consistency was weird, and the chocolate wasn't sweet. I will not by a store brand again, just because it was on sale.

I like store brand because of my pocket book and I think it's perfectly acceptable, but it's definitely no where as smooth or creamy as the more expensive brands that I've bought on sale before or had at someone else's place.

poll ideas - favorite ice cream flavors (mine in order are birthday bash, strawberry, chocolate chip) or if you like your ice cream in a cup/bowl or what type cone you like to eat it in if you are a cone person (waffle, cakecup, sugar).
