Because of my atrocious web speed ( 2.5 Mbps ), I have to run HIT Scraper at one second intervals to catch *anything,* else my fellow Turkers get *all* the goodies . Plus, I usually have four or five HITs loaded in Turkmaster at various intervals from 1 to 5 seconds. As a result, I get a LOT of the dreaded "You have exceeded the maximum allowed page request rate for this website." If I run only HS, all seems to be fine.

Any suggestions on how I can cut down on getting those bleeping things? Or, if you run HS and TM concurrently, how do you "balance" the search intervals between the two? Thanks, peeps!

I'd say your best bet would be to switch from HITscraper to HIT Finder, it's the same so you won't have to learn anything new, but I have very few PRE problems with HIT finder, because you can use it on the new worker site instead of the one we've been using.

I used to run 2 HIT scrapers at 25 and 40 sec but I wouldn't recommend that.
