No. It hurts in that you are wasting the hits you have available to work on during probation and there are hits that have a lockout period if you return them, but other than that, returning a hit has no negative effects.

Yeah, there was just one that wouldn't submit. Had to return it.

After 2 1/2 years of Turking I reached the double digit rejection club today and it pisses me off because 7/10 are complete bullshit (3 were accidental submissions). I got one 2 days in a row by scam requesters apparently.

IIRC the first 10 days you can only do up to 100 hits. Returning them doesn't hurt you, BUT it goes against those 100 *so if you take one then return it you can only do 99 more etc*

sometimes I return hits, and then message the requester letting them know that I returned the task.

the instructions were explaining about rewriting the predicate without changing the meaning, but the question was asking if there was an animal - it didn't make any sense
