The issue for many people is that they like to be paid for their time, even for screeners. Spending a minute or two on a HIT, just to be screened out, feels like a waste of time because that's time that you could have spent doing something else. So I think they just like to throw that warning out there so others know that that's a possibility, before heading into the HIT.

MOST surveys don't screen out- some people want to know if that's a possiblity before they waste time on them, and do the definite-paid-for-your-minutes work first. They want to know if they're screeners. If they didn't, it wouldn't be a point people talk about.

I see the TV warnings as more of a "don't get your hopes up" button but yea not something that's really all that needed for me.

Screener shit and broken hit warning (which are 100x more important) should probably have different colors or buttons or something.
