Having numbers is useful for both qualifying for more hits, because certain requesters require a minimum amount of hits before you can do their work, and also for having a cushion in case you get rejections, it's always good to maintain as high an approved % as possible.

Just focus on getting your numbers up for the time being, and then maybe one day you can reach the absolutely elite of turking like I have, I'm a talking green mouse btw.

Nothing. You can expect nothing but more turking. The same with 2000 and 5000 and 10000... 100000 and even 1000000. There are a few random batches that require a certain number of hits. They aren't posted in any great numbers and they aren't a majority.
