Got my first rejection today over some bullshit.
I didn't receive a completion code and put my Mturk ID in it's place. I emailed the requester explaining that right after I submitted the HIT.

The requester has good reviews. The claim that they can't use the data is ridiculous considering the nature of the HIT though.

The requester has good reviews. The claim that they can't use the data is ridiculous considering the nature of the HIT though.

I've put in my ID many times and emailed a requester.

But since the completely unfounded bot scare I find myself returning hits if I don't get a code. I hate doing work for free, but I don't want a rejection.

Sucks that you got rejected. Requesters aren't so willing to be flexible any longer.

Dammit. My timer ran out, it got returned and there's no more left. I just spent over an hour doing the damn hit just to get an error, the HIT kicked back, and screwed. I e-mailed the requester, but I'm not sure if they will do anything about it. I sent them tons of screenshots showing the errors everywhere.

I really hope they can fix it. That was a huge HIT I could use.

Did you have an adblock running? Sometimes I find that if I forget to turn off my adblock for a HIT, I'll have submission, or other problems that other people don't experience. Either way, sorry. That's annoying.

I actually don't run any adblocks on my computer ever. I know that insane to most people. So that wouldn't be a possible factor.

It's not insane. I don't do it for safety. I do it because I don't like Youtube and Pandora ads.

I really don't think I could face doing it again . . . I find some HITs leave me feeling quite incompetent . . .
