If I had to have a part time job, and it was one where I couldn't turk while working, then the best hours would be weekends or late to not conflict with the better turking hours/days.

Another option is your own cleaning business. Get to set your own hours, make good money, meet new people, and don't have to answer to the man. Plus, you can turk wheneverish! The downside is the cleaning part, but it's easier when it's sweet little older ladies that stuff you full of cookies and think they have a huge mess that ends up being basic housework.

Same here. If I went back to work full time, I could make a lot of money. But I like the zero commitment nature of working on mturk. If the kids need something, I just return the hit. If I want to take off for 5 days and go out of town, I don't have clear it with my supervising partner or get someone to cover my cases.
I don't see nothing wrong with a little bump and grind.
