I've found the peroxide, baking soda, and dish soap recipe has been the best formula so far for the problem. The dog and I smell fine now. I just would have preferred she get sprayed after Zoltars as now is a better time to bathe a dog and not at 5:00am.

My Great Dane turns brown/blonde when we use peroxide on her. She's a blue merle currently sporting a blonde patch on her elbow

Yes we use that formula as well. It still is a real bummer when it happens.
