Woah, I thought my hospital bill was bad, but looking at reddit and how much people owe is ridiculous. Does anyone have any similar issues?

I shudder to think how much I would owe if it weren't for being disabled and unemployed (Thanks, Medicare and Medicaid!). I believe I racked up in about 32k of bills due to a couple of hospitalizations last year.
