I'm reading through the thread and slightly alarmed.
I usually have between 25-40 pandas running in PC AND HF AND HM running.
So I just refreshed (about 4 mins ago) and turned everything on like I usually do and have 9 PRE's. Certain batches if I am running the Panda on HAM, I can still work just fine with everything else running. Certain others thought, I do have to do some managing or I will shut off HM and HF or some combo. I feel like if I dont' run these Pandas though, I will never catch anything.

I have five in queue right now to complete. Sometimes, its nothing. It is just hit or miss.

Whoa. That is a lot of pandas. How often do you catch stuff on them?

It's just that you bring your chances way down when you run that many. Unless something has changed.

PRE's don't matter. I have hundreds of PRE's in a day. I Also catch most everything that I PandA.

EDIT My PREs are high because I'm running right on the edge of too fast. So If I start getting some , I ease off a bit.

I know it made her day to see him. I'm lucky that my son has my grandmas as his greats, I only had one great grandmother as a child. I don't think either of them thought they would live to see me have a child lol

It is so weird how the PRE's affect everyone differently. I do notice more PRE's at 8 pandas and sometimes issues submitting, but almost no difference in PRE's when I have 1-6 pandas going with HF running. (That is, after Panda Crazy increases its ms between searches, which can take a few minutes, but it generally settles into a nice rhythm and keeps the PRE's lower.)

I have had much better luck since I started using Firefox instead of Chrome to run PC. Firefox seems to run much faster for me and I have been able to run 7 or 8 Pandas with almost no PRE's vs. running max 3 Panda's on Chrome and getting constant PRE's. Also, running PC on the new MTurk site has also made a difference. However, I would agree that everyone's results are different. There are a number of factors to take into consideration and there is no right answer for everyone. Mac vs. Windows, running TM/HS/etc. at the same time, browser type, PC on MTurk New Site vs. Old, RAM memory and internet speed are just some of the factors to take into consideration. Experimentation is the key.
