No, I do have a full time job though, but I was referring to today, I saw some people got 100 to 200 Z's today, and don't understand why I only ended up with 49.

Your upload is very poor, and your download is very high causing your ping to be high. It is best to have the two numbers be as even as possible, which is tough with the consolidation of internet companies going on. My stats are
Ping <1 ms Download 60.61 Mbps Upload 91.07 Mbps I am on a grandfathered plan from years ago & I noticed that my upload went through the roof for no reason. I start about 15 after and finish by 20-30 after the hour.

edit - to be more clear upload will give you a faster initial handshaking with a site server, the site doesn't take much to download.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll have to play around with this a bit more. My ISP just completed some system upgrades, so I went from 20Mbps upload/1Mbps download to 120Mbps down/12Mbps upload, which is a huge step up! There's a $200 upgrade fee and sizable monthly fee to upgrade my home connection to the ultra-high-speed service that my ISP offers.

Out of curiosity. I logged in remotely to my office PC which has a wired connect to the University's network. Just to see what speed I am getting there.

They typically stop posting in October, every year. Last year, though, they came back in December. The year before that, they didn't come back until the following March. If they are done for the fall, let's just hope that they're not done for too long.
