Afternoon all. Not at work, bereavement started today. We had to pick out the arrangements earlier. Don't die- it's expensive!
I came here and logged on to avoid napping and saw I had panda collect a $4 hit for me, and I realize I must have left Panda Crazy running at work last night. But, the $4 hit had like a 24 hour timer. I completed it, or so I thought, and then was bummed to see it wasn't in my dashboard. I have accidentally returned hits I've completed (or not) before, so I figured I just blew that one. Then I realized I caught it last night and sure enough it was sitting in yeseterday's dashboard. Yay!

I just water down acrylics and pour them onto the canvas!

That's cool. If you thin down oils, you can float them on top of a big tub of water, adding drips and swirls and stuff, then you flip the canvas face-down and dip it, horizontally into the water. It picks up the oils and leaves the water. You can usually get a few dips out of a single swirl, making matching prints that are ever so slightly different, with the same mix of colours. It's another fun way to try. You can get some pretty good patterns due to the interaction between the oil paint/paint thinner and water.
