The batch is always there. It just looks it it disappears, because of Throttling. That is when too many are trying to grab a hit at once. MTurk does that.
You should just put it on a slow Panda. If it takes you a minute to do one, set a Panda for a minute, then you should have the next one when you finish one.

I've come across gifs of people feeding live rats to monster fish like Arowanas. There's really no reason to do that other than fucked up people getting a cheap thrill out of it.
