What if Noah is just trolling us with the .40 answer questions by posting the hit that generates the questions to countries outside of the US, purposely getting garbage data, and never actually uses it, and that's why it's going the full 30 day AA.

I'm going to start building a power point presentation of ridiculous questions, and send it to requesters who offer low pay.

(Not saying that Noah isn't paying us well)

Their job is to enforce the law. IF people are breaking the law to the point where it is problematic for neighbors, causing a decline in property values, and keeping people up at night, then the police should be involved.

There's a pretty good likelyhood that people who are so trashy that they cause disturbances daily also are into some other shady shit.

Mine, for instance, were heroin addicts and had a puppy mill in their basement that nobody knew about.

They also weren't feeding their kids.

Source: 10 years working in 911 center, directly with police.
It actually isn't the job of the police to enforce all laws. A lot of things are meant to be handled in civil court or by other people like city employees. There's no need to send armed officers someplace because someone's fence is too high or they didn't mow the lawn.

I'm about as quiet of a person as there is, keep my place clean, and don't bother anyone, and even I have had the cops called on me a few times in my life for random dumb stuff that was so nothing that they left within a minute or two of arriving. Never in my life has anyone ever showed up at my door and just asked me like a human to turn down some music or to stop doing some other thing that was bothering them.

I'm not saying no one should ever call the police, but people should ask themselves what it would be like if everyone's criteria for calling was the same as theirs. If we were all the annoying neighbor that just sent in cops every time they saw anything that was illegal or violated some ordinance, every day would be a complete disaster.

If you got the qual, you're doing them exactly right. They only handed it out to the top 20% according to the qual tests they have posted.

In the municipality where I live, local police are code enforcement.

I've never called the police over a civil issue. A civil issue is "I owe you money" or "Youre planting a tree on my lawn." This is "You are blasting loud music at 3am and smoking crack on your porch, while your kids swim in a kiddie pool that has not had the water changed in six months, the water is bright yellow and stagnant, and has been attracting swarms of mosquitos and wasps, and your 5 pitbulls shit on my lawn multiple times a day and while you complain that I am parking totally normally in an available spot on the street, whereas your car is not legally registered or inspected to be driven on public roads in this state."

I'm calling for: Noise ordinance violations, drug violations, littering all over the neighborhood, unsecured dogs, animal neglect (a felony in my state), child neglect, and harrassment (If there is on street parking that is first come first serve and you leave me threatening notes daily on my car, I am going to get the law involved). Their kids run in the streets unattended. Very young kids (under age 6). They knock on my door at all hours asking me to move cars that aren't mine.

It is absolutely up to the police to reign this stuff in, because in spite of telling them about it a thousand times, they only get worse and more vengeful.

I'm not saying call for every little thing right away - but if you can't handle it in a civil manner, sometimes this is the only thing they'll listen to.
