If it's a survey move the heck on because it doesn't matter.
If it's more than 10 HITs message the requester and pretend to be nice so they'll overturn it.

how do you know when you have masters or what are the guidelines to get there?

There is no known way to get there. the Masters qualification is handed out randomly throughout the year, not often, and no one knows how to get it. People with higher stats don't have it while others that are lower do.
