as someone who secretly is extremely desperate for approval from other human beings, this means a lot to me

at this point, I'd rather do ANYTHING but graphic design. I've failed so much at it, any joy a previously had is gone. Before I got rejected from 1000 different graphic design jobs, I got rejected from the University of FLorida Graphic Design program... TWICE. Ended up majoring in Drawing cause thats basically what I'm good at.

sometimes you're just not meant for something. Graphic design isn't even that great of a career to persue it as hard as I did. TBH I really only went after it cause its the only art job that hires lots of people

I took some continuing education Autocad classes after working for 10 years in the oil and gas industry. Now I'm mapping underground utilities. It's not very artistic, but it pays the bills.
