The most compelling main event fights are not always the most warranted ones.

In this case, we don't really know just how competitive GSP still is. While he is likely not as dominant as he once was, especially in a heavier weight-class, he was still competing at a really high level when he walked away from the sport.... Also, some of the guys he beat in the past have subsequently dropped-off a cliff in the post-USADA era, which supports the notion that he was dominating even against cheaters. Maybe he was a cheater too?... Regardless, I am intrigued.

However, let's not act like this is the first time a main event like this has occurred... UFC 118: Toney vs Couture, UFC 60: Hughes vs Gracie, UFC on Fox 5: Penn vs MacDonald. When considering competitiveness, did any of these fights warrant being main events?
