LOL yeah literally she has this big plan to move to Colorado. I'm like girl, you literally spend all your money on the shit, how are you gonna move there without us feeding and housing and clothing you. Waiting a year for insurance is crazy, first of all. Secondly, health insurance wasn't really the main benefit I was thinking. But, either way, if you feel that full-time and part-time employees get an equal shake at Walmart, that's fine. Not something I care enough to argue. But, the reason they added insurance for part time employees was because they were only hiring part-timers and they all felt that they should have access to healthcare. More important benefits, in my mind, are tuition reimbursement, paid time off, company matched IRA and employee stock purchase. I worked at Walmart, 20 years ago and, none of those things were available to anyone below 36 hours a week.
