I don't think the HIT pay delay is any super big deal because how often does a requester currently approve and pay your task within 2 days anyway? I find most stuff I do is 3-7 days.

So is that two days from when task is 'completed' meaning you did it, or is it two days after the task is approved by the requester?

I do this full-time and don't particularly love the idea of potentially having over $1K sitting there waiting to be transferred at any given time from a company with a track record of suspending accounts without explanation. I can adjust to weekly transfers, but also putting a hold on funds for two additional days just doesn't sit right with me. Maybe it's fine for you, but I'm a bit of a control freak. I don't like having it taken away personally.

You don't suppose that this payment debacle is a response to Cal. new gig law? Make it look like a traditional job pay? Since it's set up by weeks. Gig workers get paid when the job is done, not necessarily weekly. Which is part of the point of gig work. And the pay is in small random chunks, not standard amounts, at usual times....of course there is the argument that this isn't gig work, but employment...whether self or with an employer....then, again, that's also gig work, isn't it? Circular reasoning here. It boggles the mind.

I don't like the record keeping or the idea of a business that has no means of communicating by phone, but only by email(with notorious canned responses), and a poor history of answering legitimate questions, and a non staff staff, having direct access to my bank account. There is a distinct lack of confidence inherent here.
