Growing up my parnets used to hide the gifts in the crawl space beneath the bathtub. It was scary under there so I never looked lol!

our presents were hidden: behind moms dresser, in moms closet, in the attic. I checked them all every year after I learned Santa didn't exist. She never hid my presents with the rest. She's a tricky lady.

Had a chance to meet a good chunk of the Globetrotters, as a kid. Absolutely great fellas, saw I was nervous as crap and struggling to come down to get a T-shirt autographed, so one of them ("Hi-Lite", if I recall) came up, signed my shirt, then pointed up at the stands, acting like he was shocked at something, to distract me, and when I looked away, he took the shirt, ran comically-quickly to some of the others, and had them sign it in like 30 seconds or less, then ran it back to me.
Freaking fantastic guys.

Agreed, back in the 1800's when I was a kid they were fantastic family entertainment.
