"By accepting this HIT you agree to take part in a three week study in which you will do xxx for two hours a day. The HIT will be accepted for payment upon completion of the study."

Just made that up but yeah, easy for it to end up being a dollar an hour :blep:
:disapprove:

:owly: Howdy kids! Brother and nephew are in town so have been catching up with them the past few days. Hope everyone had/is having a good Friday!

Hey I was wondering where you were! The Killing of a Sacred Deer is opening today in a theater near here and I really look forward to seeing it because the description says "mystery/thriller" and that's good enough for me.

Sis wants to go see Murder on the Orient Express. Love the book and the original but IDK.

I'm pretty stoked about that one, myself... but a number of reviews have tempered that... I've prepared myself for disappointment.

Exactly. I want it to be great but am very cautious. :cautious:

Yeah it's not getting a lot of love by reviewers, even in sites like Rottentomatoes which are a little more forgiving. I'd say it's a Moviepass type of movie, where you don't go in with a lot of expectations.

Man... I've watched the entire Columbo series probably 6 times... I've been through all of the Poirot series probably as many times... I voraciously consume just about any murder mystery style books and videos. Murder on the Orient Express wasn't her strongest book to begin with... but it could be great in retelling! I'm concerned it will just be one of those murder mysteries that keep you guessing by simply telling the story from one persons view point and not giving you information (making it not much of a mystery movie and more of a standard drama)...

Poirot is my fave of hers and Columbo is fantastic. I watch it often.

Most definitely Miss Marple. A bunch of others too... I was just trying to provide 2 examples I figured would be more well known.
