Looking good so far!

On the color wheel blue is fairly close to green, about 90 degrees off, while reds are complementary (meaning high contrast on the opposite side of the color wheel, 180 degrees. If you want to express an environment that feels truly alien and unrelatable, pick a vegetation color that complements the color of your sky... if you want it to feel more relatable and comfortable, pick a color that is closer to the sky.
