I mean so the words dont Blend so badly?
Like when responding have the box a more contrasting color?

Yeah, I know what you mean. That theme is very grey and doesn't have much contrast. I think the Quark theme is a much better dark theme for that reason. In the meantime, though, I think @Kerek had a script that turned the background completely black on Delta Dark. Maybe something like that might help?

Dark themes make my eyes hurt I like them better but I can't use them for long periods of time.

They key is to black out any windows in the room and live in complete darkness all the time. Dark themes become much easier to use.

I like quark, and my eyes are oddly screwed up lately (like no one can figure out why. oh, maybe it's quark? jk.)

It's funny how many awesome things I didn't even realize I had access to because of contributing that I thought were just features I never noticed.
