An abundance of events on today's National calendar:

America Recycles Day - I do it weekly as that is how often the city picks up the recycling

National Raisin Bran Cereal Day - check your grocery stores for deals this weekend. I will... it has been a while since I've had Raisin Bran and even then it was more "bran" than "raisins" as I was doing science to find out there are 6 ounces of raisins in a 18 oz store-brand raisin bran package.

National Clean Out Your Refrigerator Day - or Clean Out My Refrigerator Quarterly in my case. I'm good at not eating things more than a three days old, but I'm bad at tossing it promptly.

National Bundt Day

National Philanthropy Day - can we get requesters to be more philanthropic? :wink:

National Spicy Hermit Cookie Day

good news is that I think she'll be your BFF in about 3-4 years once she gets thru that phase and you two will be doing things like sisters instead of parent/daughter.

were you able to get yesterday's update fixed?

It was funny my dad was telling me that his windows update was taking an hour to do. I told him he has to be patient as it might be a November major update that I heard Microsoft was rolling out. I never heard back from him about it so it probably didn't end up a botched update that I would have to help him try to fix.

Today's installed perfectly. Yesterday's required installing something else and I'm on the fence about it.
