"Elucidate" means .... explain. I have a fairly good vocabulary due to my reading stuff all the time, and when writing I tend to use the first appropriate word that comes to mind. So we both knew something the other didn't know. and

I tried to use the word Bildungsroman earlier and it keeps giving me a red squigly that it's spelled wrong! It's spelled right! It's a word! *has a hissy fit*
