Yup. I had to sell those for my daughter's Odyssey of the Mind team's World Finals trip fundraiser. Well, I sort of did. I was out of town for the majority of the sale and other people had to help her hock them.
I ended up with a couple when I got back, and I thought taste-wise they were pretty good actually, and not horrible price-wise compared to the size of candy bars at the grocery store.
I think I almost would have preferred those to what we did for band this year, which is a frozen pastry thing. Each one costs $14 (an immediate deterrent) and they have to be kept frozen upon arrival (which means unless you have a massive freezer or a ton of coolers, you can't try to sell in large quantities). And we delivered on foot, which meant creatively packing them in a bag with ice and ice packs in 70F weather in November (in a place it shouldn't reasonably be that warm at that time of year) because if they start to thaw they'll start to rise and then they're pretty much ruined unless you're going to bake them right away. She ended up selling 11 of them. I still have one in my freezer. I've tried repeatedly calling the person for two weeks now but haven't gotten a reply to my voicemails and I'm too lazy to walk back over there hoping they're home.
