And my Dad has passed as well. Funny how things trigger those memories. Mine wasn't a great cook, however, he did always have a garden with a strawberry patch for me. I miss that. :twohearts:

My parents divorced when I was 5 and my Dad raised me and my brother. So yeah, we were a bit different but everyone else was the weird ones!

Yo peeps, if anybody here has Moviepass, check your e-mail. They're running a new offer where if you buy an annual pass, you get the membership for $6.95 a month, which is a ridiculous price.

Get it before they go bankrupt because this business model makes no sense.

They have actually made money off me so far lol, but I'm going to take them for all they're worth over the holidays! I still can't believe how cheap and they are and now doubling down.

If I go to a single movie that's not during matinee hours they're paying out 5 dollars more than my monthly subscription. I have no idea how long they can maintain this.

If I go to a single movie that's not during matinee hours they're paying out 5 dollars more than my monthly subscription. I have no idea how long they can maintain this.

I've only gone to one movie since I signed up with them in September I think it was. Just too busy with working and other stuff. Maybe there's enough people like me who are going to make them profitable? I dunno. Does still seem like it's too good to last.

Aw I liked that movie I'd never argue that it's good, but it made me laugh

Looks like I got screwed out of $15. Yesterday I got a follow-up survey called SAMS: Stress, Anxiety, and Mood Study. The HIT only had a 30 minute timer, and the survey took me 35 minutes. I emailed them with the code I got, my ID, and said I had a screenshot of the page with the code. No response. I checked the HIT page later, and the timer was bumped up to 5 days, but of course I can't accept another one.

Between that and a Prolific study I took that was rejected this week, it looks like some people are enjoying some tasty free data...
