Air China flight + Air BnBs makes a week in Japan really affordable. Im going this April with my brother for a week to Tokyo and Osaka and were only gunna spend like 1200 a piece

I think the cheapest four flights ive ever had were korean air and singapore, i'll keep that in mind fo next time though.

I usually stay with friends in osaka, but I'll check out airbnb for tokyo. I hate staying with friends there because their place is either A) too small for even one person, or B) in chiba. the last 6 or 7 times i just stayed in cheap business hotels :|

You gotta live on the west coast to see JAL for $400 right?

I wish I could find a JAL ticket for that price but because JFK is my closest airport id be lucky to find that same ticket for 1k which is why I just go for the air china flight with the 1 stop instead. Yeah, look into air bnb, I have never had a problem ever, its got a pretty good rating system so you will be able to tell instantly what is safe and reliable in tokyo. Really affordable, some of them are like 50-60 bucks a night which isnt that bad
