Hey guys, I've been lurking in the mturk IRC. Someone posted a qual I made yesterday and got a lot of feedback on it. Consensus was it was too difficult and the pay was too low. The pay has been increased and the sample data that was asked was purposely some of the hardest that we have to gauge workers' ability. Seems it was too offputting overall. So we took the feedback and increased pay, used easier examples for the qual, and added a button to auto-fill empty boxes with "NO" at the bottom once you are done. We also changed the bonus from +10% every 100 HITs approved to +10% on everything after you've submitted ten good HITs.

If you still have more feedback for us let me know, I'm working on behalf of my company to get this data completed in the next week or so. The big batches will be up tomorrow night and should be several grand worth of HITs to work on.

EDIT: If you did the qual yesterday, you do NOT have to redo it UNLESS you were rejected - you can use this as a second chance (or third since someone accidentally returned this one and I put up a second). I am reviewing the submissions from yesterday now - sit tight and wait. If you get an email by the end of today that you were qual'd (NOT accepted - qual'd), you don't have to do the new qual. If you don't, then feel free to give it another shot with this one.
