I've said it before and I'm saying it again: they ought to dispense with masters and make requesters use proper qualifications. That gets the best results.....but then, of course, Amazon couldn't charge extra for masters HITs.

What I've never understood(one of many odd things) is why a requester would use a master qual on a HIT AND a whole list of other quals. Most of which would supersede masters. Really?.......first time quoting myself. Didn't know I could do that. Now I can quote some one who really agrees with me........well, on some days, anyway.

as much as I agree it's a silly qualification . The ONE thing requesters can be sure of is that masters aren't scam-artists. From a batch perspective, if you allow masters only, you know it's not the hoi polloi who are responding. They've (the turkers) have kicked around and are protective of their masters qual.

That said, I deserve masters

LOL yeah i dunno. I gave up trying to figure out Masters long ago... i really do think most requestors don't know anything about the masters qual and are just assuming they'll get better work.. probably true in most cases but there aren't exactly a lot of people out there with masters and we'll never know how or when they'll be distributed again if ever.
