I've made $2,500 over the last 45 days on mturk, and I'm just trying to buy cheap slippers so I won't A. wear out my shoes because I can't afford to replace them or B. step on anything poky which could cause time off/lower income/bill from seeing a doctor.

life is just ridiculous with the recession as bad as it is.

Simple. You do without something you need, so you can buy something else you want more...I once ate hot dogs for 3 months straight. There was a watercolor paper sale that was extremely important to me...As I recall it cost about 8.00/sheet. Last time I checked it was over 25.00/sheet. God only knows what it's priced at now.

Did this earlier in the week, computer crashed halfway through and had to start over. Contacted requester and they compensated me for how much I had already completed within a couple of minutes. Pretty good.
