Do it! I'm going for the max. I have a little routine. Start the traceroute. While that's running, do the speed test. Do an A9 or other small HIT. When the speed test is done, watch the video. By the time the video is done, the traceroute should be complete and you can submit it and move on to the next map.

I was curious about the name so googled it. Seems to be what he does since apparently the name isn't made up.

It probably logs your IP address but it doesn't ask for any other info. They already know your IP if you visit the external site, so it's probably no more risky than any other HIT. I think it is closed but look for it - it may come back up again. I still have it open in the background. The speed and traceroute tests run on autopilot and you can do other HITs whilst that grinds away.

Are you on Windows or Mac? Note this can't be done from a mobile device.

If you're on a Mac, open Terminal (In Utilities). If you're on Windows, go to the command prompt (in your Start menu). Copy the text from the Traceroute task, paste it into that window and hit enter. The machine does the rest. It will save a little text file called upload_output.txt somewhere on your machine. upload that into the task. It might take a couple of minutes to run.

it seems the process is just to repeat the process over again. Don't forget the two "missions" to complete. There's another video and a fast.com speedtest. Missions button on the top menu. Two new 100 point missions are posted each hour, and there's no video to watch or anything. Just run two test and upload the files.

Does anyone have that HIT open again? In the instructions they give the points to $$ conversion for the bonus. Is it 100 points = $.01?

0.1 I believe......How they are going to reward without the hit open I do not know...were we supposed to keep it open? never mind that it said to submit it

You have to register an account on that site and get an ID code. Submit the HIT with your code at 500 points and then keep working. One can only hope that they get an accurate report with all your mad points
