Have you ever gone to Salt Lick? I have a customer in Ft. Worth that always tells me about this place. Looks delicious. I know its sorta far from where you are though.

so.. yes. A few times. It is in Driftwood, a very small town about 30 minutes SW of Austin. As far as Texas BBQ is concerned it is not the best nor my favorite but it is good and the drive out to it is a beautiful drive. Plus you're basically in wine country when you're out there It is a lot of fun with the right group and absolutely worth going to especially if you're visiting the Austin area for the first time.

I have a bunch of accounts in Texas and will eventually be going there when COVID is settled. I have accounts in Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, Von Ormy, Tyler, Odessa, and Midland. Any suggestions on the best BBQ near any of these places?
