Are there qualification restrictions that are hidden from workers? I was going to preview a not so great hit and it told me that the requester had specified qualifications and that I didn't meet them, but when I opened up the box, I had the little green check marks for all of the qualifications required.

I have no intention of causing you unnecessary fear when I ask this but did you get an account warning like a lot of people did a couple weeks ago?

I really think that whole thing was about blocks.
Think they sent it out to anyone who had gotten a block recently.

One block ain't ever anything to worry about but if you start stacking them up then it starts setting things off down at the ol' Mturk monitoring center.

It's a shame we no longer get emails so we can warn/review each other easier when someone does bullshit blocks like this.

Yea and with survey requesters who randomly block you can't even tell without a shitload of detective work because they don't sit long enough for you to check the quals. Of course if it shows up in your scraper and you click and get that non qual'd message then you're for sure blocked.

i dont think there's a way to know until you just happen across the requesters again and attempt to accept one of their hits

I wish. I've just found out randomly by trying to accept something. You can try contacting them to see if they'll reverse it at least. I've had three reversed in the past.

That's crazy! You would think if they were going to use that against you, they'd have the decency to show you who, why, when, where, and how you were blocked.
