Yeah, that might happen. One of those songs. My cries man, my cries
That's me and my girlfriend's "song". This was playing in the airport the first time I met her. Best $1000 I ever spent on a mail order bride. Seriously though I love that girl. (Although I didn't buy her Russia.)My cries man, my cries
It's okay, I'm ready. It was a g̶r̶e̶a̶t̶,̶ ̶g̶o̶o̶d̶,̶ ̶o̶k̶a̶y̶ life.
Didn't even click play, the memory of it alone was enough to make me retire to bed and sob for 1000 yearsYeah, that might happen. One of those songs.
Took the Qual HIT last week and none of your HITs are available for me ... so I failed miserably. I'm a pretty sharp cookie so I'm leaning towards they are too difficult and Turkers are concerned about rejections.Hope it's okay to post this here since it's still up.
Our HITs are still up as is our Qual under the name "Michael Cote". We're doing approvals on a rolling basis, daily. Will be approving the latest qual HITs in the next hour.
The first short batch is 75% done and the first long batch is 35% done. Interestingly, not a single submission for the medium batch. Any feedback for us regarding pricing, difficulty, the qual, or just about anything else?
These first batches are just 6% of the work we have to put up on MTurk and once we get enough workers we will be posting bigger batches at a time. I will be going through and approving the work today. The 10% bonus will be awarded either in the next 48 hours or whenever the batch is completed and approved (whichever comes first).
I still don't know how to directly link the HITs, could someone give me a hand or direct me to how I should be linking them? If I'm blind and missed a sticky or post somewhere, let me know. Thanks.
As far as horrifying Christmas animals goes, the Mouse King is pretty awful.
this broke my computer twice in a row. returned.

Some of them are a tad confusing, with the acronyms and so many different fields of information that are needed, it is sometimes difficult to tell what info should go where. Until some folks have done some of them and your TO rating goes up, I imagine people will be cautious of them.Hope it's okay to post this here since it's still up.

:rotatinglight::rotatinglight::rotatinglight::rotatinglight:What is with these requesters with these short expirations? They posting with stolen money or something?
Yeah it's one of those songs, where if it was one of your songs, you won't forget it, or the memorysDidn't even click play, the memory of it alone was enough to make me retire to bed and sob for 1000 years
Tad?Some of them are a tad confusing, with the acronyms and so many different fields of information that are needed, it is sometimes difficult to tell what info should go where. Until some folks have done some of them and your TO rating goes up, I imagine people will be cautious of them.
There was some MTurk advice going around amongst academic requesters awhile ago about how they should set short timers because that is a signal to workers that the HIT won't take very long. They didn't realize that HITs expire for workers when the timer runs out and thought the timers were just indicators of how long workers should budget to do the HIT. Maybe that's being spread again. What is with these requesters with these short expirations? They posting with stolen money or something?
